Child and Adolescent Therapist 

Solutions is seeking an individual for our Child and Adolescent Program. The Child and Adolescent Therapist provides counseling services by conducting assessments, determining treatment and facilitating individual, group and family therapy sessions. The therapist will share time in the school and in the office meeting with clients and families. Completes required documentation and monitors client progression.

Position Status: Full Time 

Position Requirements: LSW, LISW, PC, PCC, MFT, or IMFT

Crisis Therapist

Description: Performs hospital pre-screenings by administering diagnostic assessment of mental and emotional disorders.  Determines disposition and needs of client by analyzing assessment and client behavior. Accurately and rapidly assesses and documents client symptomatology, diagnosis, interventions (including level of care) and progress in ways that are timely, accurate and meet agency standards. Also performs office based follow-up appointments and assessments. Occasionally would need to respond in community with case manager or local police department. Flexibility and adaptability needed. A variety of experience will be gained.

Position Status: Full-time

Education Required: Masters Degree and LSW, LISW, PC, PCC, MFT, or IMFT required. Independent license preferred.

Mobile Crisis Therapist

Description: This therapist will provide mobile crisis coverage to various community referral sources by conducting screens and triage for follow up services for Warren and Clinton County residents. The following is a list of duties and responsibilities for the position:

  • Determines disposition and needs of client through mental health screening and observation of behaviors.
  • Accurately and rapidly assesses and documents client symptomology. Refers to medical staff as needed.
  • Seeks input from other professionals by presenting and reviewing client cases and obtaining alternative ideas for treatment.  Attends supervisor, team and other meetings and participates in committee groups.
  • Educates client regarding diagnosis.
  • Facilitates referrals to community agencies.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing periodicals and attending seminars and training sessions.
  • Keeps accurate records by completing and maintaining required documentation.
  • Adheres to all applicable legal, professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality, in the performance of clinical services.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client records and other sensitive subject matter.
  • Is a person who carries out his/her job in a responsible manner maintaining awareness of, and negotiating around one’s own limits and boundaries, in terms of time, scheduled duties and personal areas of expertise.
  • Has the ability to exert control over the use of work-time hours. 
  • Completes tasks in a timely manner and meets all deadlines.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside or normal schedule to meet workload demands.  Performs other related duties as required.

Child and Adolescent Therapist in our PACT Program.

Solutions is seeking an individual for our Child and Adolescent Program. The Child and Adolescent Therapist provides counseling services by conducting assessments, determining treatment and facilitating individual, group and family therapy sessions. The therapist will share time in the school and in the office meeting with clients and families. Completes required documentation and monitors client progression. 

The PACT (Parent and Child Together) program provides specialized trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy to children who have experienced traumatic abuse and/or grief and loss and their non-offending parent/caregivers. During each of the program sessions the family works in groups (children groups, sibling groups, and parent/caregiver groups) to provide all family members an opportunity to process the effects of the abuse, especially the intense emotions that can accompany it. Sessions help families to develop supportive resources in their communities, prevent further exploitation and abuse of children, and assist families to remain intact.

Position Requirements: LSW, LISW, PC, PCC, MFT, or IMFT 

Location: Warren County area

Training: Trauma training provided
